Swiss Autoimmune Liver Disease

The Swiss Autoimmune Liver Disease Meeting, for the first time organized in 2016, is the first of its kind in Switzerland. It is aimed at hepatologists and immunologists from all over the country and from abroad who, for the occasion, arrive in Ticino to be updated on developments in basic research and clinical strategies to combat autoimmune liver diseases. The latter are rare and complex diseases for which the Epatocentro and its partners have a special interest. Lectures are given by international speakers and experts and there is ample space for the presentation of original research both experimental and clinical as posters as well as oral presentations.

The meeting in Ticino is made possible thanks to the collaboration between the Fondazione Epatocentro Ticino, the lead organization, the Swiss Society for Allergology and Immunology (SSAI) and the Swiss Association for the Study of the Liver (SASL). The 2018 edition was endorsed by European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL).
